Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

We used computers, telephones, TV, digital cameras, scanners, computer software, libraries, newspapers, oral interviews. WE used the computers for typing information in ms word and designing our site by macromedia dreamveawer mx, adobe photoshop cs, total commander xp. By means of the telephones we appointed the time for our meetings and interviews. Our team watched sport competitions on researching kind of sports of our project. Especially we most used digital camera and scanner for taking pictures. The most valuable tools were newspapers because we would like to make the common things and differences between our sport local community and the world. The most helpful were the computers and the internet. Without these technologies we couldn't complete our project.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

Really people were impressed with our work because we did unusual thing for our community: we met with famous sportsmen, interview them, and we were going to post our research on our web site in the internet.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

All the people around the world have learned about our national traditional sport and its sportsmen. Our local community have learned about on line international project Cyber Fair and we are the students of the school no 11 are the participants of this project. They were impressed by it and we were asked to involve the students from the other schools and colleges. Our web site has helped to combine popular information for our community and share achievements.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

Our teachers and parents gave advice and prompted how to make better. Our technical consultant Kim Aleksey helped us to master web design programs.
