?From the work to improve your potential skills? is the most cherish one thing we learned from the old-age people of Farmers’ Association.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

This study integrate the education concept of ?available classroom in community?promoted by County and the local curriculum focusing in school. Not only the famous person or building but also through the context changing of education improvement promoted by LuJou Farmers’ Association to know well of the progress for LuJou urbanization and the live change from the Farmers. We also found the hard time of an enterprise trying to switch and focus on the feedback to society in the same time.

The combination in the Nine-Year Compulsory Curriculum:

(1)Language Learning Field:During the progress, the data collecting ?reading books?writing down what they learn?context sorting for homepage?questions arrangement and actual interview even designing the Q&A race to all the classes in order to introduce our topics, all of these are the ways to improve the students’ skills in listening? speaking ?reading and writing.

Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

We apply the digital camera? scanner ?DV to get the Video files and use the computer software to accomplish the mission. Such as using the Photoimpact10 and ACDSee to adjust the images in order to email the message and files, we even upload the ready documents through FTP and create the homepage applied with FrontPage and SwiSHmax. Moreover, members make use of the Powerpoint to create the Q&A race through the school TV broadcast system in order to introduce the LuJou Farmers’ Association to all the classes.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

Before taking action, we made a list for interview and fax the topics to the leader of General Affairs from LuJou Farmers’ Association in order to arrange the necessary persons and fix schedule and time for us. After interview, we upload the records to the report of Cyber Fair website for their double-checking in order to make things perfect.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

After arriving to the garden, from the more detailed explanations of Uncle Su who takes care of the agriculture promotion education, we found that it needs a lot of job arrangements under many people’ endeavors in order to deliver the value NT 15 dollars vegetable to the end users’ end. We will more cherish the foods we eat especially we find that Mr. and Mrs. Lin spent a lot of time and efforts to take care of these vegetables.

During seeing the study hard from the old-age students of house craft classes, we should not have any excuses to be lazy in school study.

Through the process of interview, we find that successful persons are with a lot of same characteristics, such as: positive?active?anti pressure? aggressive to overcome and insist his own target. The real examples are the leader of General Affairs who promote books but being rejected all the time?the Secretary Tsai works and studies in the same time and the promotion leader who has good relationship with female farmers. All of them are successful from many frustrations; even they can move forward things with good tempo. Besides admiring of them, we did have no any complains on plan study.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

Before interview, we collected the necessary the information of LuJou Farmers’ Association and then contacted with them directly. Through the assistance from General Affair’s leader: Mr. Li, Su-Chu, we are able to go ahead our interview with fixed meeting schedule and places. Besides this, Uncle Su, Chin-Pao offered his self-made PowerPoint file; Anti Hsu, Shu-Liang borrowed us some pictures and the out-of-date LuJou Farmers’ Magazines. Also grandma of Li-Yeh, Ming-Ching supplied us several photos; Uncle Tsai, Chia-Fu provided the Special Anniversary Magazine and Organization Chart to us. These did great help to save usa lot of time.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

After finalizing this mission, we find that the LuJou Farmers’ Association of the smallest territory in Taipei County doesn’t satisfy its achievement that the revenues is from negative to be the top 5 in country. Most of important is that it acts and moves step by step with stable business plan for the future. We are really proud of its excellent success from our homeland organization: Farmers’ Association.
