1. Description of Our Community
Our school îs located in pingluo county in ningxia province, but we live in a small town, taole, in pingluo county. Our homeland was surrounded by the maowusu desert. From the geographic location, the outside of huanghe river was surrounded by tenggeli desert to its west, wulanbuhe desert to its north, and maowusu desert to its east. There is a historic reason in ningxia and desert. From the changing of desert we can see the enhancement of environmental protection, hoping the homeland is more beautiful.
2. Summary of Our Project
Nowadays, desert, though happy change, but finally it can reach a harmonic development. Taking this theme, we want to explore through the history and change of the desert. Hope we can try our best for the harmonious development between people and nature.

There is only one computer available to the internet. The classes is more and the time arrangement problems. We only come to internet Friday afternoon to do our work. Sometimes we come back home at 8 ‘clock. Though a little hungry, but we see the material is more and more. We are happy.
4. Problems We Had To Overcome
On the way to make webpage, we also meet many difficulties. First, we also want to make the webpage and then we have to be good in our studies. Today we are up to grade 2, one more new subject. Our study burden is heavy and homework is more. So this year is very important year. Our time is tight, so we have to arrange the time reasonable, even this, we should try our best to do the work carefully. Second, our director Mr. Yan are very busy on many classes, and he has to direct our work. So we would thank him. And then it always takes a lot of time to make the webpage. So sometimes we come back home lately. Some of the parents don’t understand us. Finally, we meet the difficulties in the way. Sometimes, if we want to interview the hero, we have to find house to house. It always takes the time to find the people. Though it is hard, we gained a lot experience. In the process, we also practiced our ability. After the practice, under the direction of the teachers, we wrote many composition and life experience and many reasons. By the theme of march into the desert, we enhanced our sense of environment protection. Though we met some difficulties, we are still gaining and growing.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
This way we experience so much. In order to publicize the importance of knowing the desert, we went to the desert to find the material. For the better understanding of the knowledge of the desert, the headmaster support our action. We give the speech in the class, the school also arrange the students to plant the desert. They let more students and teachers know the desert closely to know the damage by the desert. Behind us there are also many people helping us. Bring us the hope and support. Maybe they didn’t aware what they are doing. Because with their join, they will know the importance of environment protection. From no littering, our world can be more beautiful.
6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?
This time we take the history and change of the desert as the main line. We highlight the importance of the environmental protection. It not only combines the history, geography, art, culture, computer, and social communication, but also combines with the local class. Let the theme of protection environment into the class. All these can not be finished by several people. There are also many students and teachers, as well as the people from the back. One way going, we feel deeply that we cannot work as the character without the cooperation and communication.
