Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Our school is located at the yaojie town in honggu district in lanzhou, which the theme will introduce the school zheng shengwen with us. He is the folk artists, located at combination of the gansu and Qinghai, with the river nurturing us. Lanzhou is located at the northwestern end of honggu, the branch of qilian halagu mountain, facing the Qinghai and yongdeng. There are 14 people in here. Yaojie is lower in the west and higher in the east, around 1800-2400m, the eastern part is huangtu area. the western part is the end of babao mountain, belong to the continent half-dry climate. With the average rainfall 349.6 mm, and average temperature 7.6. four different seasons in moderate climate. It has long history, which locates the famous relic. With the siyamen and miaoyin temple around it. It also enjoys the rich mineral, the coal 3.5 billion and full of limestone, shell stone, qilianyu, dali stone, sand, which is named as babaochuan.

2. Summary of Our Project

Taking the theme, we show the pursuit of zhengshengwen, and show the education, and the taking of the Chinese culture.

Owing to moving to the new school, now our school only 1 computer can go to the internet, what we can do is make the webpage after school and weekend. In order to save time, teacher correct it and then typewrite into the computer.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

In the process, our speed is low. Our time is tight, 7:00 at first. So we can only have 2 classes to make the webpage but not enough for us. We can copy into the flash disk and then send to teacher’s computer. We overcome the difficulties and then trust we will be successful.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

Looking back, we are happy. In the exhibition, the people sign that it is very good and vivid. We are so proud and think about Mr. Zheng, get the approve. As the student, I want to thank him. In the process, all the people helped us giving us the hope. I trust that we will be proud of study.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

We take zhengshengwen as the main line, not combining the history, geography, art and culture, also into the realizing the education and those beautiful picture, showing the longing for the nature. Also our school holding the exhibition. All these are get from the students from the back, are teachers and student.

We can understand he is our proud, we work as the embassy. More and more people start to like art and our report.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

Zhengshengwen as the teacher in the small town, working on the education for about30 years, making the great contribution to the industry, he is a good teacher to teach and good father to the kids. In the process of making the webpage, we further understand the art and seeing the talent for the society. Our secret of the group, confidence. When we have no time for Mr. Zheng, we will save time for study, we will correct until it is satisfactory.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

Whole webpage is done by our staff. We respect the intellectual property. All the details is from the memo. All the pictures are from our cmera.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

Through this finishing, we show the china western area teacher to more people. We hope more people will remember teachers to scatter the love to the world.
