1. Description of Our Community
The mainly habitat of Taipei grass frogs are Taipei Sanchih, Taoyuan Yangmei, Longtan and Tainan. Taoyuan has a special name which is called “Country of the thousand ponds” by people all the time, Taipei grass frog could have such a lot of habitats to live because of these ponds. But their habitats become less and less accompany the exploitation of ponds. There are only Yangmei, Longtan have the habitats in Taoyuan region at present. There are quite a few Taipei grass frogs in Mr. Yang’s lotus field in Taipei Sanchih. On weekends, visiters likes to go to the lotus field to enjoy these fascinating lotus, so Mr. Yang make a living by these lotus, sometimes he would also sell them to other cities that have organic shops like Taoyuan, Shinjhuang, Zhong-he or Banciao. Although there are only fifteen or sixteen branches of lotus ,Mr. Yang insists that he should deliver them in person, he thought ”Honesty” is the most important thing on business transaction. Insect pest can not make inroads while the lotus are going to crop, but if man sprinkle the insecticides, that would affect the Taipei grass frogs, all of them might die. Finally, Mr. Yang, who is the lotus field’s owner, and Mr. Lin, who is Taipei grass frog’s guardian, they fond a balance between protect the lotus and save Taipei grass frogs. In Tainan, Taipei grass frogs have to change their habitats while the Water chestnut field is on fallow. Taipei grass frogs will face the remove problem in case the industry of locality gets degenerate. Taipei grass frogs would be extinct much faster than now if we just continue to disregard them.
2. Summary of Our Project
Two years ago, while a team from Fudan high school, which is in Ping-jen city in Taoyuan, was investigating No.731 Wetland for military use, they discovered a pretty lovely frog. The frog was different from other frogs that we had seen before, it was small and colorful. On the basis of curious about that frog, we started our designated topic-Taipei grass frog. First, we searched the specialized person or the connected information on the internet, all of us were busy with the Taipei grass frogs, then we began to contact the person who known something about it, we asked them whether we could visit them or not. As time went by, we gradually known Taipei grass frog, it is so important in our biosphere. We hope we could tell everyone through our website that no matter Taipei grass frog or other creature, we all have to protect them, let them live leisurely and carefree in the world. By the way, we also hope that we could let more and more people know Taipei grass frog by our website, Taipei grass frog can have much chance to live thus. Taipei grass frogs are facing the problem of extinction in Taiwan now, but most of people do not know much about them, also do not understand what’ s their condition right now. So we put the topics like introduce Taipei grass frog, Taipei grass frog’s habitats, something about preservation and restoration of Taipei grass frog on our website.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome
All of us want to take advantage of time and finish our job perfectly as soon as possible. But it’s pretty hard to get all the members together since we are from the different classes. It needs time to stay in the field for the observation of Taipei grass frog, so we have to spend lots of time discussing how we go to the destination and how we come back every time. We often carry a lot of appliances and chase the last train. Besides, we can’t afford the cost of some appliances and traveling expenses. So we hold a donation party. We’ve learned things that we didn’t know before. However, when we were trying to use our words to convey our stories, thoughts, and the things we want to share with the readers on the website, we always couldn’t find the most precise words. That’s the most difficult part of all.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
Human being must have to learn how to take good care and protect our environment if we expect our earth could keep gestating the life. 6. Since elementary school, we have already accepted the education for ten years. Remembered the way of this ten years we suddenly realize that Chinese, English, social and science, all most every subject in the end of lesson will extend to preservation, restoration, continue of the life and species or the environment continuity, especially on the subject of science and social. Those contents that put in the book is want people to protect our earth together in times. To get in touch with the CyberFair is equal to get in touch with Taipei Grass Frog, and it made us know that the creatures are easily to become extinct, also visited the habitats in person, we could put each other together, one side we can have more recognize to the lesson and the other sides is we can use what we had learned in our life, this is so meaningful.
