1. Description of Our Community
Gui De County is located in the transition zone of the Loess and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The County is interacted by a maze of ditches. Between the mountain and countryside is the Basin hilly terrain. The geography is north and south high while low in middle. Thus, form a basin valley surrounded by four mountains. Under the effect of the geographical background and climate environment, Gui De County formed a rich geological character.
2. Summary of Our Project
Through the interview of these magic landscapes, we had some understanding about the forming reason of these landscape characteristics. Thus, we call out people to protect the landscape we own now and not to destroy it.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome
In the whole activity, our team had happiness as well as afraid. When our female team members unable to get down the mountain, the male members gave us courage and waited us below. With their belief, we all can bravely get down the mountain. Certainly, there also had many problems and difficulties in the activity. There were many differences and opinions in the team, the team member carefully discussed the reasons of these problems together and then solve the contradiction in essence, which made our team more solidarity. These all agreed to the theme of this internet exposition competition---believe and unite.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
After visiting the places with representative landscape in Gui De, I had a more understanding of Gui De’s magic landscape. Participating in activity is an acquisition. It let children to experience in practice and better grow up. In this activity, I saw a united team and I believe we certainly we will success.
6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?
In the common school teaching, students mainly study some basic knowledge. When we were having this special topic research, we mainly had practice activity. That is enable students to use what knowledge they usually learned at school linked with practice, enrich their viewpoint, let them understand that these landscape formed through earth crust movement for billions of years, we should protect her. Though, we encountered some difficulties on our way, we learned much knowledge unknown before. We really benefit a lot in this activity.
