We used the following software: Windows 7, Flash CS4, Digital Pen, Office 2010, Internet Explorer 8, Dreamwear4,FileZilla,X-mind,ImageResizer,and so on.
2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.
To introduce Tatung Group more detailed, we adopted many different channels to get close to this corporation and to know it better. (1) Questionnaire: At the beginning, we designed a simple questionnaire in order to understand the opinions from people at different ages for the products of Tatung Group. We administrated the questionnaires in Tatung 3C Product Center after school and gathered statistics. (2) Message Board: We found a collector of Tatung Mascot through internet and made contact with him by leaving message on the message board of his blog. We then arranged the interview with him. (3) 2011 Taipei Design Expo The coming of 2011 Taipei Design Expo is another great opportunity for us. The historical Tatung Group would surely participate in this event. We attended the Design Expo and collected information. Surprisingly, we reached their RP department on the event and asked the agent to arrange a visit of Tatung headquarters. (4) Visiting Tatung headquarters After scheduling a proper time, we then visited the Tatung headquarters in Zhongshan District, Taipei. They especially arranged professional guide to accompany us and make introductions. We also proposed several questions prepared in advance. (5)Students from Taiwan In order to understand the feelings and memories of Taiwanese students abroad on Tatung electric pot, we interviewed several students who studied in foreign countries for years and asked them to share their stories with Tatung electric pots.
3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?
After the research of our designated topic, we really absorbed some new knowledge. And we also got to know Tatung Company more well. Now we learn that we're still not really familiar with it and most of the Taiwanese got the same image as we did. We believe that through our website, there'll be more people get to know Tatung Company clearer. To know that it is not only a traditional property, but also a company that cross many territories in our life.
4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)
We spent lots of time discussing the content, direction, and topic so that we wouldn’t get deviant when search for the information. We also learnt a lot from the interviews, with the guiding of our advisor, we found it was crucial to be well-prepared and the questions asked during the interview also required certain skills. What impressed us the most was the administration of questionnaires and how to get the customers of Tatung answer our questionnaire. We had to introduce ourselves and our purpose in the shortest time which was quite a challenge. Finally, in our webpage, there are many parts were made with Flash. Therefore we were getting more familiar with this software that we were able to use it to produce the effect we wanted. There were many discussions and sometimes conflictions occurred while conducting this project, I believe all these experiences allowed us how to get along with people better and taught us the spirit of teamwork.
