Because this is our first time to make the website, we encountered some technical problems. However, with the help of the teachers, we found out the problems and solved them. Besides, at first, we had no ideas about what to do for our project. But after discussing with our team members and the teachers, we worked out the outline of the project. Then, as the project went on, we made great progress and finally finished our project. This is really a wonderful experience for us.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
Bricks are very common in most buildings. But if we pay more attention to bricks, we will find that bricks are not only materials for buildings but also works of art. As a result, we participate in the International Schools CyberFair to explore the beauty of the bricks and by making the project website we could let more and more people appreciate the beauty of the bricks.
6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?
By conducting the International Schools CyberFair project, we learned many skills related to the curriculum at school. When we looked for information on the Net and made the project website, we developed the skills of using the technology, which is related to the computer course. When we summarized and organized the information we got from the Net, we learned to write articles in both Chinese and English, which is related to the language course. Besides, in the process of conducting our project, we needed to learn to express and share our ideas with each other, which focused on the importance of teamwork. Also, we learned to actively participate in our research and solve the problems we had met.
