4. Problems We Had To Overcome

1 in the course of this participation, the first problem we encounter is the topic. What kind of subject is good? After the discussion, we confirm Lishanzhai as our theme. We are skillful because we chose this kind of theme last time. 2 the second problem is the gathering of materials. Lishanzhai is famous in the people, but because of local economic, construction is fallen behind, not to mention propaganda. We let people collect from family members or people around, to record what they say. Coupled with the collection on network, text data is full. Here the students do well. 3 in the process of taking picture, we met new problems, we found the light of some images is dim; or due to the sun radiation, reflection phenomenon is serious. We had to make use of the mobile phone, many people take pictures from different angles, or to shoot on tiptoe, or squat down. Choosing the better pictures in Cyberfire, revise with shadow magic hands, to try to make beautiful pictures. 4 it is the first time to take part in the activity for the three students, so they don’t know about it. Our teacher has to teach them hand in hand, and then our teacher revises repeatedly. Finally it is finished, we all feel very happy, and students also learn a lot of knowledge about computer.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

Webpage making is a rare experience for us, let us have the opportunity to learn more knowledge and technology, make our view broader.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

1 in the course of webpage, we learned some basic knowledge of technology, image processing technology and text image editing technique. 2 in the course of the interview, we learned how to deal with the stranger, how to capture the clear and beautiful pictures. 3 in computer course, webpage design plays a very important role. In addition, the network in the course of making webpage also played an important role, it is a omniscient teacher in our life, help us solve a lot of problems, for example, to help us find the shadow magic hands for image processing, help us looking up some text image data.

Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

Hardware: Digital camera, U disk, Desktop, Mobile phone Software: nEO iMAGING, WPS, 360 internet browser Networkt: E-mail, Broadband

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

We are in the western mountains, where the vast majority of people are farmers, and they rely on farming or working outside. Young people are working outside and the old people are at home, their cultural level is very low, many people do not read the book, there are many words do not know. With the changes of the times, computer goes into thousands of households, although they know computer, they don’t know how to use it. So they knew less about Cyberfire.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

For the webpage game, in addition to our school teachers and students and some of the local young people can learn and understand, nobody knows, nobody cares. We hope that more people understand Taoism and Buddhism culture, understanding people's beliefs, experience the life of the sour, sweet, bitter, hot, also feel the hope and sunshine, let life more beautiful!

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

In this event, thank the school director of general office teacher Tan, thanks to the villagers for welcoming us, thank the villagers took the time to tell us about the vertical copycat story.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

Thinking in life, learning in practice, put knowledge into practice, to learn knowledge effectively.
