His continuous efforts for development of the project are really appreciable.
Second student-Ruchika Aggarwal(17 years) She is another very bright and young member of our team. She is just seventeen years of age and studies in Convent of Jesus and Mary School at Connaught Place in New Delhi. She is in class twelve. Though preparing very hard for her coming Board Exams in March alongwith preparations for competitive entrance exams for engineering ,her devotion to the project is appreciable. She helped us in taking out the pictures and helped in the completion of the project narrative.
First coach-Mrs.Sushma Aggarwal She is a lady of devotion. She spent considerable time for collection, selection and analysis of the data. She searched through many journals, books and web-sites on the internet and collected the appreciable data for the project. Without her guidance, it would have been very difficult to complete such an elaborate project. Second coach- Mr. Anil Aggarwal
He is a young and energetic man, who is the owner of a leading business organization. He is a Director in Rotary Club of Delhi Imperial too. He has been bestowed with many honours from Rotary. He has provided moral support, motivation and overall guidance for our project. In times of difficulty, he was the person who stood behind and helped us to overcome the situation. We all joined togather because it seems to be a very challenging job to produce an educational web project by conducting original research and we accepted the challenge.
2. Summary of Our Project
Our project describes the role of a multinational corporation in a society, community, country and the world. Since Business is the creation of profitable enterprise, Multinational corporations can reduce poverty by connecting local business with world markets and bringing access to credit and technology. However,MNCs are absent from some of the poorest regions in the world. The risks of investment are too high. So, the potential benefits of MNCs are not reaching the world’s neediest places. There is a gap between need and investment. The challenge is to close that gap: to facilitate investment by MNCs in poor regions by minimizing risk, and by making the investment profitable and thus sustainable. Our project “Multinational investments and Global welfare” tells us; .about the international trade, .about multinationals and whether they contribute to Global Welfare, .about Foreign Direct Investments, and .about different international Trade Organisations i.e. IMF and WTO. We contributed long hours of hard work and sincere efforts to understand the concept and present it in its totality.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome
Problems We had to overcome were: .In understanding the concept clearly, .in gathering the required information for it from many journals, newspapers and websites, .in selection of the song and beautiful pictures contributing to our theme, .In using Dreamweaver and macromedia for presentation, .In submitting our website and .finally in arranging long hours of work as we are undergoing our final Examinations. We were able to overcome these difficulties only with great effort and with the help of our teachers.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
Doors to Diplomacy has given us an opportunity to present our views on Multinational investment, Globalisation and international-trade. It has helped us increasing our knowledge base and in the widening of our horizon. This has been a very efficient way of spreading word as now many of our friends are much more aware about the current issue of globalisation. since, we have collected all the valuable information relating to Multinationals at one place only,we hope that this project would be of great interest to Business Community also. Thanks to Doors to Diplomacy for giving us this opportunity.
6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?
We learnt to work in groups. We divided our work and always tried to be time bound. To our surprise,we found out that Big-Deeds can be done easily with organised group activity. We discovered that even our educational system can contribute to Global Welfare by providing free or concessional education to poor children. We found that as an individual, even we play a very important role in the society. With an increased awareness,we can motivate others too towards Global Welfare. Internet,we feel is a more efficient tool for teaching and learning. With its help one can access vast reservoirs of knowledge within no time and with minimum of costs.
