1. Description of Our Community

Our community is situated in the northern part of Romania. It is a beautiful place, were nature binds with urban landscapes to form unique places with magical atraction. The people from are known as great hosts and are seen as examples of hospitality. We welcome people from all over the world and treat them as equals. Bucovina is a place worth visiting.

2. Summary of Our Project

This project was realized of our collegues initiative, and with the help of our teachers we tried to make the region Bucovina well-known with all it's beauties and wonders.The site represents a short presentation of the region and of the monuments which are representative for it, but also as part of this site, you can find useful information for any tourist who wants to visit this part of Romania

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

During this project we had to overcome some problemes even from the beginning; the cold months ( November, December, January)and the school program have made our travelling more difficult to the pensions from the neer villages, but we passed these impediments with the help of our collegues, who accompanyed us and have included this activity in their free time, beeing consider an recreation oportunity

5. Our Project Sound Bite

When the idea of creating a site based on tourism came to us, the teachers agreed to introduce it in the large scale project of our city: 'Romania Pitoreasca'.In this way we had the oportunity to present the idea of our project to the school standard, helping in the same time our collegues to the development of the project 'Romania Pitoreasca'

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

Through this project we learned how to work as a team , we met new people, we learned how to discuss with the authorities about local interest and international problemes. This site offered us the oportunity to know better the region where we live.We enriched our English and we enhanced our collaborating skills

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

In the development of this project we appealed to our school director, Olaru Marian, and under the coordination of our teacher, Coaja Gabriela, and with the help of our geography teacher, Lazarescu Luminita, and we managed to combine our ideas and started to work.As main source of information we used the internet, and for more details we borrowed books from our school and the city library.We needed digital photo cameras, mobile phones for keeping in touch with the persons with who we colaborated and for the project finalisation we used five computers connected to the internet with minimum speed of 16 kb per second in our informatic labs

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

In the beginning we started to present the idea of our project to the class, then we made a description of our project at the school standard, as a part of the project 'Romania Pitoreasca'.We received help from Ms.Panculescu Corina, who is part of the Association Pensions in Sucevita and a great importance had our school director Olaru Marian and with his help we managed to finish our project

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

Among our town we managed to stir up the curiosity of our fellow citizens, we showed them the unexplored beauties of our surroundings.With the help of our questionnaire we managed to observe that every village/town takes it’s duties seriously.We were very welcomed in every town/village and even we found out what beautiful places we have

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

We were helped by Coaja Gabriela ,who supported and helped us to finalize the project.We also received help from our geography teacher , Lazarescu Luminita and of course our colleagues who helped us to to put in practice our ideas
