1. Description of Our Community
Wangcang is under the administration of Guangyuan city. It is located in the northern of Sichuang Basin, on the southern of Micangshan mountain; bordering Nanjiang County in the east,Caotain District and Shahua District in the west, Cangxi County in the south and Nanzheng of Shannxi Province in the north. This county has an area of 2975.864 square kilometers and a population of 458.200 as of 2012. Wangcang has 15 towns and 20 townships, permanently raises some multiracial residents, such as Han, Qiang, Yi, Zang, Hui, Miao and Dong.Wangcang Vocational Middle School in Sichuan province is the only public full-time vocational senior middle school sponsored by Wangcang County government, founded in October 1986. The School successively bears the titles of 'Vocational Education Center in Wangcang County', 'Wangcang Rural Talent School', 'Municipal Advanced Unit in Public Health Work', 'Municipal Green Model School', 'Provincial Labor Training Demonstration Base' and 'Provincial Protection Against and Mitigation of Earthquake Disaster Popular Science Model School' etc. The Campus covers an area of 66 mu with building area of 20000 square meters with 96 current staffs, there are majors of numerical control, electronic technology, computer application, electrical and mechanical, agriculture, tourism and hotel service, secretarial, accounting computerization etc, with 1,701 current students. Establishing provincial key Vocational Middle School was listed in the vocational education's program for strategic breakthrough in Guangyuan city and was also the goal in the term of county Party Committee and the county government.
2. Summary of Our Project
For the school, a good school must have a good manager. Teaching level at Wangcang Vocational Middle School is improved significantly in recent years, which is inseparable from the excellent management of Principle Mr. Qing Dechang. For the students, every word and behavior of Mr. Qing is attractive. By making this project, we will have contact with the principal face to face, talk and come up with the conclusion, to disclose his 'mysterious' veil. Sharing the experience with other students, makes students further understand the principal, care about, understand and support the school’s work. In this activity, we understand the importance of unity and cooperation; what is more, we understand that we should take everything seriously and spare no effect to do it.

There are four computer classrooms with about 200 sets computers for computer training of the students. And there is internet-surfing access in offices or the various functional offices at any time, and built the campus broadband teaching network connected to the internet with fast overall speed. But we could not use the school's network at any time; we must go the computer rooms in our spare time to surf the Internet.
4. Problems We Had To Overcome
1: our schedule was very tight, school life was busy and full, full day courses and housework occupied our life so that we had no spare time. Teacher Qing, as head teacher, had to come to the class every day for guidance. In order to ensure not disturbing our schoolwork, we had to make full use of our spare time and weekends. 2: although, five members of participating team, are majors in computer, we came across many problems in making the webpage, because we only have the web page production courses in a short time with few actual operations, and some students seemed a bit depressed facing difficulties, at that time, teacher Qing encouraged us to 'to be united with all forces, don't be afraid to face the difficulties.' With the teacher's encouragement, we regained our confidence to fight with difficulties. Finally we overcame difficulties and accomplished the task. 3: limited resources. School computer classrooms are generally used for the student's practical training, which was not very convenient for us to go there to make web pages. To help solve this problem, teacher Qing proposed that we went to his office, completed the literary writing, image processing and web editing etc. with his computer. Every time, in our spare time, five of us were seen surrounding one computer.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
In this activity, it took us a lot of time and effort from the initial sign up at first, assigned tasks, collecting materials to accomplishing the web gage at last, while at the same time we also learned a lot, we exercised our communication skills, we are no longer 'winning a war by words', we began to understand how trivial the power of the individual was compared with the team as a collective group. It is of course, important to accomplish the tasks independently, while the team cooperation, mutual understanding and support was just the key to open the door of success. Difficulties made us grow and time made us change qualitatively. This activity made us have further understandings and experience about ourselves and others. We would move forward more bravely in future learning career and life.
6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?
We could not only learn knowledge in the books from School teaching and our own learning, we should test our knowledge in practice. Only combing the knowledge in the book and extracurricular practices can we really put what we learnt into practices.
