Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Qingchuan County is located at the north side of Sichuan Basin, covers the area of 329 square kilometers. It is the northwest of Guaanyuan City, north to Gansu Province, east to Shaanxi Province, west to Pingwu County, south to Jiangyu City, renowned as “Jj Ming San Sheng(Cock crow heard in three provinces)”, “Golden Delta”. In Qingchuan, the natural scenery is beautiful, green hills and clear water, having health ecological environment and ?good weather. Since ancient times, Qingchuan is the place that Qiang, Han, Zang and other ethnic groups live together, which has the rich local culture and the unique folk custom Folk art and literature in Qingchuan are featured colorful. The folk dance like the “Lantern Dance” ”Dragon Dance” “Lion Dance” ; Quyi(folk arts) and ballad like ditty, Lantern tune, folk song, have long history and exuberant cultural heritage. Among the folk arts, “Haocao Gongs and Drums” is a state-level intangible cultural heritage. Qingchuan root carving and Liyuan stone carving are the first City-level intangible cultural heritage. Qingchuan is still keeping traditional farming and labor mode, such as grind with donkey and horse, plow with ox and donkey, wheel barrows, make Tofu, and so on. it is full of life breath.

2. Summary of Our Project

Through our discussion, we chose the local tourism resources which was able to express the feelings of Qingchuan, finally in October 2015 2, we selected a 'fantasy heaven' -- Sichuan Tangjia RiverNational Nature Reserve, and decided 'the Drunken Beauty Tangjiahe.' as the topic. Early we perused the relevant information, searched the Internet, and communicated with the staff, collected and sorted out the data, made full preparations for the project, after three depth interview and personal travel experience, we saw gorgeous scenery in the scenic spot, felt Shangri-lain Tangjiahe, understood the local conditions, social customs and the magical Tangjiahe. Through the help of team, local residents and staff, on November 15 afternoon 17:30, with the last keyboard sounds, we finally successfully completed the project. This is the work of a team, wisdom crystallization of a team, 45 days’ company, and 45 days’ cooperation and learning, 45 days’ bitterness and laughter, 45 days’ busy and achievement, we couldn't help embracing together. Thank you very much for this rare opportunity, let us exercise and improve in all aspects. Through the production of this project, we hope there will be more people understand Tangjiahe, came to Tangjiahe, close to Tangjiahe, we also hope that more people can pay attention to Qingchuan, Qingchuan tourism after the earthquake, finally look forward to more Chinese and foreign friends with family and friends come to Tangjiahe, escape from earthly cares, we are waiting for you in Tangjiahe!

With the assistance of the country and Zhejiang province, there were 5 computer rooms with more than two hundred sets of computers in our school. In October 2011, there was access to 20M telecommunications optical fibers line network. there were special computer classes, and students could easily use the computer.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

Because it was the first time for us to go out of school to take part in social practice activity, so we can not choose interview object freely, we are also doubted by others; because we do not have an empirical interview, job interview notes and points are not clear, interview can not cut to the chase directly; because we were students, we were so nervous that tourists and local residents refused our interview, all of them were not willing to offer information to us. After coming back, through our summary and study, we took the prepared questions in the second time, we had a generous and friendly communication with local residents, and we felt gratified that the effect was very good. Because it is the first time to take part in competition, the project production process arrangement is not reasonable, such as didn’t determine the site columns in advance, it led the result that we didn’t know how to choose when we were collating information and interview records, classification was disorganized, it made a big trouble to make the website; in normal learning, we were skilled with the software we learned, but we didn’t use it in practice, in the project process, we were often puzzled because we were not familiar with the software, after the teacher repeated guidance and demonstration, we continued to practice, finally mastered the skills skillfully.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

The project let us have the opportunity to see the long National Nature Reserve, Tangjiahe, walking in the jungle, playing in the landscape, enjoying unlimited scenery, let our heart release, and let us produce deep respect feeling to the nature.Thanks to this platform, let us go out of school, contact the knowledge with practice; Thanks to this project, let us get exercise and rapid growth. Thank the guidance of two teachers, let us successfully completed the project and benefit from it, thanks to a strong team, let us feel the strength of unity and cooperation. Through this project, let several of us in the mountains see the development of Qingchuan after the earthquake, let us feel the 'hometown beauty, people beauty, heart beauty', aftertaste 'spring flowers, summer drifting, autumn leaves, winter snow' Tangjia Riverbeauty, look forward 'small bridge, flowing water, people,' leisurely chic life, let us have the determination to learn, and do our best to build our hometown.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

School offers many courses: Windows 7, Microsoft Office Word 2010, flash, Photoshop, frontpage, Adobe Dreamweaver etc., last semester we learned the computer operating system, office software, this semester we are learning Photoshop, be Dreamweaver. These lessons are independent subjects, we never integrated them together for the application system to learn, this CyberFair gave us an opportunity to learn. In the finishing material, we learn how to import photos from the camera to the computer; when the recording pen was used at the first time, we had no idea with the buttons on it, through the study, we can import documents from the recording pen to the computer skillfully; in the layout time, we learned how to combine text with photos and deal with images skillfully. The project not only exercises our writing and communication skills but also puts professional knowledge in practice, although in the process, we encountered many difficulties and challenges, under the teacher's encouragement and guidance of his teammates, we completed the project.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

According to the Qingchuan tourism development planning, in this project we play an ambassador to show Tangjia RiverNatural ecological scenery, appealed the people scientific and reasonable to develop and protect the ecotourism scenic spot, cherish the existing natural preserve region, let more people can enjoy unlimited scenery representing nature, keep a quiet and relaxed 'heart station'for the busy urban people, building a small courtyard for the tired people, create a suitable free life 'home' for the growth of rare animals and plants. At the same time, it is also propaganda for the new Qingchuan after the earthquake, we hope Qingchuan can attract more domestic and foreign tourists, let more people feel the beautiful scene of 'the winter of Hainan and the summer of Qingchuan'.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

Although this project is the propaganda of Sichuan Tangjia Rivernational protected areas, it is also advocacy for Qingchuan tourism development , our careful spirit moved the relevant administrative departments, they vigorously participated in our project with us and solved difficult puzzles positively. The staff in Tangjia Riverwas gratified for our visit in this project, they were showing their passion in the interview, they worked in the mountain year after year, only more tourists and more people concern Tangjia Riverto give their working lives with more warmth and power. the project offers a good publicity to the local characteristics, local residents were appreciated our propaganda very much, actively cooperated with the interview, it also attracted a lot of buyers, improved the income of local residents and the local economic development. the project let us have the opportunity to go out of the campus, close to nature, embrace the nature, feel breathing and pulse of mountain, listen to the whisper in the jungle, but also exercise our communication, writing ability, cooperation and ability to overcome difficulties, let us set clearer goals for our future study.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

(1)The locals showed us the way, and told us if the road ahead was smooth or unimpeded. (2) The locals led us to the various attractions to shoot and travel. (3) The locals told us Tangjia Rivermagical legend, let our material added many legends and exciting story pictures. (4) The locals relevant person in charge, researchers provided relevant information access, warmly introduced the Tangjia Riverdevelopment history to us . (5)Tourists in the scenic spot actively cooperated with our interview, generously told mood and feelings in Tangjiahe, also put forward valuable suggestions for the protection and management of Tangjiahe.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

1, in the making process of the project, we found the importance of teamwork, team help and encouragement has been supporting us forward. We also found that it can play a practical role only professional knowledgemust be combined with practice. We found that through this project, our observation ability, learning ability, aesthetic ability, practical ability, communication ability has been improved; we found the magical beauty of Tangjia Riverlandscape, let us have reverence for nature. 2, although we walk in the school every day, we never experience beautiful landscape seriously, after coming to Tangjiahe, here the mountain is marvelous, the water is clear, the flowers are beautiful, the animals are magical, the red leaves are stories, the people here are kind, the visitors are polite, the staff here are warm and generous, Tangjia Riveris beautiful, walking in the jungle trails, we were firstly shocked by the skill of the uncanny workmanship of nature, felt the divinity and the power of nature. 3, in project activities, We summarize the lessons to overcome difficulties, in the process of collection, because the team did not make clear division of labor in the original plan and schedule, so some works often repeat, another is the in normal learning, some knowledge is not enough, flexibility is not enough, resulting in more time is spent.
