1. Description of Our Community
Daxi Elementary School is located in Taiwan, a small village in the west of Dacun Township, Changhua County. Most of the residents are mainly agricultural, and the cash crops are mainly grapes. Some farmers grow rice. The social and economic status of the community residents is not high. 40% are vulnerable children. Omura grapes are famous in Taiwan and are produced twice a year, mostly for consumption rather than wine making. Also nearby is the maxxis tire company, a world-renowned tire manufacturer. Most of the residents believe in Taoism. There are temples in every village. Temples are the center of people’s beliefs here. In addition to being spiritual sustenance, they also have the function of education and are closely related to life.

Find common time to implement the program, whether it's interviews or discussions with people in the community. 3. Web page production, not skilled. way to overcome 1. Translate by google, and then ask an English-specialized teacher to proofread the manuscript. 2. The interviews with the community take advantage of the holidays and make an appointment in advance, and use the lunch break for discussions. 3. 6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?
my CyberFair project addresses the following (1) Language study areas: After the interview, it is necessary to organize the interview transcripts, summarize the conclusions and arrange the results. These works just apply the four levels of reading comprehension (information extraction, inferring information, interpretive integration, and comparative assessment) that we have learned in Mandarin class. (2) Mathematics field of study: The concepts of plane shape, three-dimensional shape, area and volume learned in mathematics classes help us better understand the scale and appearance of the Wutong Palace. (3) Social learning areas: When reading historical materials, seeing Zheng Chenggong, the king of Yanping County, who appeared in social textbooks, made us feel that the characters in the textbooks actually left records in Taiwan. In addition, it also made us more interested in social courses. (4) Fields of nature and life science and technology: Through this event, we not only have the opportunity to actually operate technological products to conduct research and research, but also allow us to rethink these technological products to bring not only the gameplay, but also the convenience of assisting investigation and research. (5) Arts and Humanities areas of study: Many symbolic images and designs with both religious meaning and aesthetics really amaze our students. (6)Through group study, students can express and respect the opinions of others. (7)Through online learning, we can see more different viewpoints and viewpoints, and broaden students' horizons. Traditional teaching cannot achieve this effect.
