Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

The development of Kaohsiung City has gradually shaken off the turbulence of the past political and industrial struggle period, and is moving in the direction of 'green', 'ecological', 'technology', 'culture' and 'nature'. On December 25, 1999, the county and city merged to form the Greater Kaohsiung City, and continue to promote green industries such as tourism, culture and technology. Kaohsiung has sunshine all year round, a pleasant climate, and the people are innocent and enthusiastic. This city with mountains, rivers, seas and harbors has successfully utilized its rich history, humanities, mountains and mountains. Sea resources have developed into a veritable tourist city, with many scenic spots worth exploring and leaving beautiful and unforgettable memories.

E. Additional comments concerning your computer and/or Internet access (Optional):

With the rapid change of information and the advent of Generation E, the Internet has become an indispensable role in our lives. Our school's computer equipment has also been updated very quickly. The department not only provides multiple laptops and multiple computer classrooms, such as 3D computer classrooms, multimedia classrooms, Classroom I, etc., for our use. We will also use Facebook (social web page) and cloud hard disk to store data and distribute work.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

Due to geographical considerations, we initially wanted to find interview subjects in Kaohsiung. Although we successfully contacted **'Maokong International Industrial Co., Ltd.'**, the interview could not proceed due to their busy schedule and reluctance to disclose sensitive information. As a result, we adjusted our plans and traveled to **Qilidan Pearl Milk Tea Cultural Center in Yilan**, which took **five hours one way** for the interview.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

(1) **Website Content:** Our site introduces the history, global development, production methods, and differences in pearl types of **bubble tea**, allowing visitors to learn more about this iconic drink while browsing.

(2) **Handcrafted Website Design:** Every button, layout, and background on our webpage was hand-drawn and handwritten by us. Through this **personal touch**, we aim to convey the **warmth and hospitality** of Taiwan, making visitors feel a sense of friendliness.

(3) **Interactive Mini-Games:** We designed a **mini-game** to engage users and enhance their knowledge of bubble tea. The game is easy to modify and update, making it a fun and flexible educational tool.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

Throughout the production process, we not only delved into web development and design, but also into content placement techniques. Collaboration between art design, data collection and web design members was crucial, and we identified the best themes through discussions. This journey has been filled with mutual learning, allowing us to expand our knowledge while improving our skills. Witnessing the evolution of the web page with each revision brings us great satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment.
