4. Problems We Had To Overcome

Sometimes, we may find ourselves face to face with a problem that feels impossible to be solved or fixed. But as we know for every problem there’s always a solution. First we were confused in deciding the theme. Finally we decided “Safety and Security” as our theme because Safety and Security is a global problem that all of us had to Overcome. But looking our data, Safety and Security is the main problem in this theme because the are many question hidden in this data . We have to looking around the internet and ask permission for taking the data and statistics. The second was each of us has our own activities in organization. Each of us became a player in our school events. And there were still a lot of school events that we had to do. The third is the internet access didn’t give useful contributions, because the internet sometimes works slowly. But we were lucky because one of us had a fast connection at their house, so we could do this project in their house. The fourth obstacle was inadequate of time. We had to work efficiently because we had school home work that we had to finish and we had to study for school test besides working this website. It was hard to manage our time. Sometime we had to overwork. To solve this problem we helped each other to finish our home work. We were lucky we had nice friends who could help us doing our homework. The fifth was we lived in big city and it was far away from one another. But all of these didn’t put down our spirit and wish to help others especially hacker victims, because they need our hands to stand up. When we went deeper and deeper in this social problem we feel that we had to do something more and more to help them. We want to create a better world for everyone without any exception.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

This website is our collaborative as our project, which combined and used all the previously gained computer and research skills in a new context. It is interesting and fun for our team to participate in this project and communicate with students from other parts of the world to share our ideas and views. So all this stimulate our team to be active and creative and we can contribute and get recognition. This project improves our skill and developed our talent in computer. We Promote creativity and allowing it to flow in a spirit of freedom and intercultural dialogue is one of the best ways of maintaining cultural vitality. Access to the new technologies opens the way to original forms of expression. Since creativity concerns everyone, including us- teenagers, being developed within our coursework and revealed in writing our research at school and participating in joint projects, just show that art and culture education is a part of all school curriculum.

6. How did your activities and research for this Doors to Diplomacy Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

We Promote creativity and allowing it to flow in a spirit of freedom and intercultural dialogue is one of the best ways of maintaining cultural vitality. Access to the new technologies opens the way to original forms of expression. Since creativity concerns everyone, including us- teenagers, being developed within our coursework and revealed in writing our research at school and participating in joint projects, just show that art and culture education is a part of all school curriculum. Using internet for teaching is good because it makes your job easier, but other said traditional method is better than using internet because person can understand it easier than using internet.

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your Doors to Diplomacy project?

Our modern technology plays a big importance in everybody’s life and offers exciting potential for supporting both students prepare for this project. So, while creating our own website for Doors to Diplomacy Project our team has applied modern technologies and software to meet the goals. We have spent many hours combining the tools. Having brainstormed the ideas on the topic our team chose the best one that suited to team’s interest, met standards, involved higher order thinking skills, and enhanced learning for all members of the team. Then we created a plan of our actions and selected the technology for gathering, organizing, and sharing information. We built our team’s mailing list, created a separate e-mail accounts to keep us corresponding. Two times a week we received the instructions from our teacher of further steps on project’s implementation. Sometimes, when we did not have an Internet access we discussed our tasks via phones. While working on Doors to Diplomacy Project we also met in computer shop or anywhere that there is a gadget. We also made online research to explore the required resources for our work. So our team has tried to use all the available modern technologies for the project’s realization

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your Doors to Diplomacy project both on-line and in person.

Participating in Doors to Diplomacy Project was a perfect opportunity for us to act as “ambassadors” guiding the whole group. To create our own website our teachers gave us the power to be the guides and provide the other participants of the project. While elaborating the website our team as spokespersons made presentations at school on the project, urging the other group to participate in online collaborative projects like Doors to Diplomacy, and creating their own projects in favor of recognizing their own creative works and strengthening their networks the world.

As our team, we have made a questionnaire on successful topics to discuss online and e-mailed the other participants to brainstorm the ideas. Our classmates helped us finding the necessary information on historical site by visiting our libraries or exploring the Internet. Our helpers help us even do they are in long distance they help us throw e-mail or chat.
