Description of Our Community: Muntinlupa City is a Highly Urbanized City (HUC) that is located in the south of Metro Manila, and is easily accessible from the provinces of Laguna, Batangas, Quezon, and all areas in Metro Manila. The city consists of two districts and nine barangays: Alabang, Ayala Alabang, Bayanan, Buli, Cupang, Poblacion, Putatan, Sucat, and Tunasan. Due to its urbanization and eco-friendliness, it was coined as the "Emerald City," which adhered to the city’s mission. Along with the mission to participate in environmental protection and economic development, Muntinlupa also aims to protect every person, provide quality social services, and institutionalize community participation. In line with those, Muntinlupa has several departments and offices that help develop the city and its citizens, prioritizing children not only by creating organizations and projects catered towards them, but also allowing youth representatives to take action with the guidance of the city’s governors.

Project Description: The Muntinlupa City Council for the Protection of Children (MCCPC), a City Government body, is pioneering the future of youth. The Council was established in December 2002 by Ordinance 02 - 073, with the objective of promoting stronger deterrent and particular protection against child abuse, exploitation, and other penalties specified in the Ordinance. The council, made up of 9 representatives from the city's coast and other barangays, works to promote children's rights through the council's many main features of Protection, Participation, Development, and Survival. These delegates collaborate to develop and protect children's rights while also ensuring happiness in a child's grin throughout their lives. In line with this, our project seeks to highlight the efforts, programs, and other accomplishments that this council has prepared and implemented in order to align with the city's vision of becoming a city of well-educated, healthy, and God-loving people living peacefully in an ever-changing and resilient community.
