Description of Our Community: Our project, titled "Community Group and Special Populations ," explores how Taiwanese civil society demonstrates collective resilience through "self-organized civil defense" in the face of modern warfare and natural disasters. Beyond debunking the stereotype that civil defense is purely military or "hardcore," our core mission is to showcase how ordinary citizens use mutual aid and their professional expertise to contribute to individual safety and social stability.

Project Description: Focusing on Taiwan's civil defense, this project structures its website around fundamental civil defense concepts. The content integrates in-depth interviews with civil defense experts and organizations, documenting the process of "democratizing" specialized tactical skills for civilian use and highlighting their contributions in real-world scenarios. In addition to showcasing professional gear and personal stories, the website emphasizes a "soft yet resilient" perspective, covering topics such as financial resilience and digital psychological defense. Our goal is to overturn the misconception that civil defense is synonymous with military action, while presenting to the international community the autonomous will and spirit of solidarity with which the people of Taiwan protect their homeland.
