Full Project Description:

If you were in the Washington DC area in February 2010 you've certainly experienced some weird weather. Some may have found it to be wondrous. Here is an opportunity for students to share some weird and/or wondrous weather in their communities. Every participating class will have their own wiki page on the project wiki to showcase their stories, poems, photographs and other weather related learning experiences. There are many easy Web 2.0 tools available to enhance your weather unit. This project is ongoing and it started last spring. If you go to the wiki you'll see what participants did last spring.

Objectives:

Teachers will explore ways to incorporate Web 2.0 tools in a unit on weather. They will have the opportunity to share their experiences and brainstorm ideas with online colleagues. Students will learn about weather and use Web 2.0 tools for online presentations.
